SVG to JPG converter

I built this SVG to JPG converter for the quick job of changing the format of one file or many. Choose or drop your files, and each one is converted on your device.

Your files stay on your device. You can pick several at once.

JPG cannot hold transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white before the file is saved. I save JPG at quality 92 out of 100.

How it works, and what stays on your device

I built this page on the decoder and encoder that your browser already has, so converting SVG to JPG happens on your device and the files are never uploaded. Nothing is sent anywhere while you convert, and you do not need an account.

Your browser draws an SVG at the size written in the file (its width and height, or its viewBox) and then saves it as JPG. An SVG that points to outside images or fonts shows without them, because the page loads nothing from the network.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. Your files are opened and converted in your browser and never leave your device. I do not receive them, and the page makes no request that carries them.

Can I convert several files at once?

Yes. Choose or drop as many files as you like. They are converted one after another, each with its own status, and a file that fails does not stop the others. Once two or more are done you can download them together as one zip.

What happens to transparent areas?

They become white, because JPG has no transparency. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG instead.

What size will the image have?

The size written in the SVG file. If the file gives no size, your browser decides it from the SVG itself.
